Performance Sleep Spindle by Line Boogaerts and Ditmar Goes

In this performance, visual artist Line Boogaerts and audiographer Ditmar Goes explore the interplay of image, sound, and movement.

Amid Boogaerts’ exhibition at Expo Leuven, the artists draw live on glass plates - symbolic boundaries between inside and outside, seeing and not-seeing. With sound, text, and movement, they respond to one another’s gestures. Their play with lines, reflections, shadows, and sounds grows into a constantly shifting dialogue where chance, disruption, and improvisation take centre stage.

Sleep Spindle opens new perspectives on perception, communication, and sensory accessibility. The audience is invited to look, listen, and experience differently, surrendering to a moment that is never the same twice.
