Circles of Sound Bio-interactive sound, light and plant installation
In Circles of Sound, a living installation emerges where a plant, the audience, and technology co-create music and light. Through loops, bio-signals, and handpans, you help build an audiovisual experience that invites wandering and discovery.
Enter an interactive environment where a plant, bio-signals, handpans, and loop stations together create an ever-changing audiovisual space.
A living plant takes centre stage. Through a biosonification process, the plant’s electrical signals are converted into sound and light in real time. Combined with visitors’ musical input, a unique, continuously evolving composition emerges.
Visitors are invited to play along using handpans, plant interaction, and a looping station. Your sounds - and the plant’s energy - shape the work’s trajectory.
Live performance
In addition to the open installation, there are two intimate performances with handpan musician Koné Moerman and guest artists on 22 and 27 November. Light artist Colas Fiszman translates audio and plant data into live visuals.
