Exploring Culture & Care at the University Hospitals Leuven
In the afternoon, we will take you on a journey into the heart of the world renowned University Hospital (UZ Leuven). You will discover the hospital’s ongoing efforts to bring care closer to the community and to approach care in a broader, more inclusive sense.
From the 'dance doctors' and the Muze & Art programme in the children’s hospital, to music therapy and the opening of a new library hub, UZ Leuven is evolving into a space where art, culture, and healthcare come together. This visit offers a unique opportunity to see how creative initiatives enhance patient care, foster social connection, and enrich the hospital environment for everyone.
