LUCA in M A new generation of artists enters into dialogue with the M collection.

04 Dec 2025 | 19:00 - 22:00
M Leuven

Second-year Drama students from the ‘writing-making’ track spend four weeks drawing inspiration from M and its collection. Guided by theatre maker and lecturer Egon Schoelynck, they create new work responding to what they experience. What can be said today about the building, the spaces, the works, and the museum visitors?

LUCA in M

At LUCA Drama, the ‘writing-making’ track focuses on writing and creating texts that come to life in performance. The students shape new stories that embody their vision and fascinations.

Within Fringe, second-year students Liese De Breucker, Luka De Vogel, Kaat Raeymaekers, Fien Vloeberghs, and Emma Vranken wander for four weeks within the walls of M Leuven. They unleash their imagination and writing on everything happening within the museum’s confines and present new (text-based) material once, on 4 December 2025, to a live audience and chance passers-by.

With Liese De Breucker, Luka De Vogel, Kaat Raeymaekers, Fien Vloeberghs, and Emma Vranken, guided by Egon Schoelynck.
