Brenda Anyango is an independent clinical psychologist, behavioural therapist, speaker, television personality, working under the name SemaNami - meaning “talk to me” in Swahili. As a Black psychologist, her work focuses on the intersection of mental health and social justice, supporting individuals who are systemically marginalized through a contextual, creative, and culturally responsive approach. She is the founder of Healing Movements, a holistic therapeutic practice that integrates talk therapy with body-based methods and collective healing.
