Bert Willems Belgium
Prof. Dr. Bert Willems is Head of Research at MAD-Research and is affiliated with PXL-MAD and Hasselt University. His work focuses on research policy and discourse in artistic research, with particular attention to its societal relevance and academic positioning. Through numerous publications, he critically reflects on the development, value, and institutional embedding of artistic research as a relatively new but increasingly important research field.
